I wanted to create this painting to celebrate one of my favorite White Sox players to watch this season and his incredible journey to the big leagues.
In July 2026, Peters hit for his first career cycle, and I was actually at the game to witness it. It was such an exciting moment, and I knew I wanted to capture it on canvas.
What makes Tristan's story so unique is his journey. From playing with the Savannah Bananas to making it to the MLB, becoming an All-Star as a rookie, and hitting for the cycle, he’s had quite the season.
One of my favorite details I added to this painting is the Savannah Bananas logo on his batting glove. I wanted to include something that represented where he came from and how far he’s come.
I also had the opportunity to meet Tristan and have him sign the original painting. He was so grateful and kept telling me how awesome it was. He even mentioned that nobody had ever painted him before, which made the experience even more special. The best part was that the Savannah Bananas logo was the first thing he noticed when I showed him the painting!
Being able to witness his cycle in person and later share my artwork with him was such a special experience that I’ll never forget.
The original painting is a one-of-one artwork. These prints are high-quality reproductions of the original piece.
