About the Artist
HI! I’M ALICIA!
I’m a Chicago-based artist specializing in realistic sports portraits and architectural artwork. As a former athlete, I’m deeply inspired by the discipline, emotion, and intensity that sports bring. I translate that energy into detailed, hand-painted works.
What makes my work unique is my commitment to creating one-of-a-kind original sports paintings. When possible, I personally attend events, signings, and appearances to have the finished paintings signed by the athletes themselves. Each signed piece is the result of time, effort, and opportunity making it a truly unique original that cannot be replicated.
HOW IT STARTED
I fell in love with painting at 17 after completing my first piece of the Chicago Theatre. From there, I continued exploring Chicago architecture, skylines, and landscapes before naturally expanding into sports portraits of athletes and pop artists portraits I admire.
Over time, my focus shifted toward creating high-impact sports artwork that celebrates excellence, dedication, and unforgettable moments. My patience, discipline, and attention to detail are what drive me to keep creating and to keep pushing the quality of every piece.
MY BACKGROUND
I graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. My architectural skills shaped the way I see composition, structure, and realism, and it continues to influence how I build depth and precision in my paintings today.
Architecture taught me how to design creatively and realistically, a balance that defines my artistic process.
