I really enjoyed watching Colston Loveland during his rookie season with the Bears. He was such a fun player to watch, making incredible catches and coming up with big touchdowns throughout the season.

After finishing the year with 713 receiving yards and six touchdowns, I wanted to capture the energy and excitement he brought to Chicago in a painting. This piece also ended up becoming really special to me personally. I brought the painting to one of Colston’s autograph signings, and his reaction when he saw it was something I’ll never forget. He looked at it completely stunned and said, “That’s crazy!!” He told me to keep it up, and I ended up sharing that interaction on Instagram.

That video became my first viral video and completely changed the trajectory of my journey as an artist on social media. Because of that, this painting will always represent more than just an incredible rookie season—it represents a moment that gave me even more motivation to keep creating, sharing my work, and seeing where my art can take me.
